I really like the watch, a very refreshing and original look!

Nice, i like... new direction indeed and successfully done. Any info about the movement, as its always the most worrying in RM's

RM has the best movements out there no need to worry

, reminds me of Cartier's rubber and steel Le Must chronograph for some reason! Too 'trendy' for me.

At least a new style direction at RM ! I really like it and I would like to know more about the movement. Happy to see the use of micro-rotor.

To me, RM has been about the nice clean arabic numerals. In actual fact, I am a bigger fan of the filled in small arabics than even the stylized ones they've been using from the RM5 to the RM11s etc..

The Roman versions do nothing for me and I don't think it's the DNA of the brand....I would love to see an execution of this watch with the more "traditional" RM face.

Roman numerals are for dress watches. They don't go on sports watches.

Did Richard Mille think it was a dress watch because it is thin? Well, it's not a dress watch.

The problem is easy to fix. Just replace those Roman numerals with Arabic ones and the watch is ready to wear.

I like the new movement, but a m not a fan of the dial design. I'm hoping the micro rotor allows them to make a thinner piece, something in the 40-42 but only 9mm thick would be sweet....

it sterred different responses and reactions (RM signature move) and hence much talk and consiquentialy recognition whether love or hate of course

this new designs opens new horizons in many ways for RM line up, tonneau , rectangular (16) and thin, diver (round and huge/thick) and now this a somehow classical round watch which might be the start of a whole new group on its own and as someone mentioned above maybe even thinner ones to be even more dressy or even this might lead to a perpetual calendar for the round case, why not right? or even maybe this will lead the introduction to the first ever RM minute repeater

but design aside GUYS i think RM i headed the reight direction for sure

 

have gone to all the trouble that such a creative piece demands to fall short on the 'icing on the cake' as it were. For what it's worth, apart from the dial I also don't like the look of the over engineered look of the case as it appears to be done for aesthetic purposes. Granted this is a feature of RM's D&A but they have trodden that line with great diligence so far where as this time they have stepped over the line. But I am of course just one man with one opinion.

Well, as you obtained the official photos from somewhere, lets talk about the watch.

Somewhere around two years in R&D; a new and bold case and strap combo for RM (and a brilliant one at that); the Dauphane hands given a new twist; but what makes it really new is the escapement.  Note the free sprung escapement wheel, and four pronged weighting.  Brilliant and something I have been crying out for (Richard will attest to that!!  Poor chap).

THIS IS AN RM for the PURIST. 

Hope to have live pictures in the next day or two.  All RM fans should be very excited about this watch.  I know I am.
