Hi,

just wondering if there ever was a RM002 made in platinum in v1 or v2? If some forum members have owned it in the past please share your experience with it. How it wears on the wrist(eg top heavy?), does it scratch easily.. etc

I have the white gold version and am quite happy with it. But have always wondered what the platinum version feels like.

I think there were some RM002's in platinum.  There were definitely RM001's in platinum and hence, I think in the earlier days of the RM002, there may have been some made.  I cannot confirm this.  For sure they are rare.  Similar to the white gold version, but heavier due to the weight of the platinum; slightly different patina to the metal as well.

Hopefully someone else will know for sure.

but do not know for sure, that it will be phased out, with the RM021 as the replacement piece.  No short change there, but Richard is moving on (as he does).  I think there is the odd platinum case for the RM002, but cannot think that I ever saw one!!
