I posted my disgust regarding the cost of a watch rapair -initially quoted at $3500.00. Today I received the watch - $2800.00 later. I have to admit - that the watch is as new. The case is perfect - the crystal' were replaced, and a new band and improved deployant are included.
Except for the fact that I only wanted the watch to keep time, I am very pleased with the result. Just beware that if you need repairs out of warranty - it will cost - a lot!!!
As it is only money. I will survive.

Despite the cost, at least the service was impeccible

Actually, 2500 is awhat it would cost for the the crystal and the deployant alone. How long are the repair warranty for?

The repair took 4-6 weeks. The original warranty expired years ago. The repair is protected for another year.
