Hi, I just purchased a pre-owned RM-011 last week had two question for other rm-011 owners.
First I noticed the minute hand jumps when I press the flyback button. I did a little research and learned that a few other owners are having this problem. Can I send the watch back to RM to have this fixed?
The other thing I noticed is that when the chrono is running and I press the flyback button the second had jumps back to 12 o’clock but then it stays there for about 2 seconds before it starts again. I have never owned a watch with a flyback so I do not know if this is normal or not. I thought when you press the flyback button it should jump back to zero and immediately start again without any delay.
Thanks for your help!!

Because the RM11 I had (I reluntantly sold mine to fund an incoming purchase
), it originally jumped just like yours. But when I sent it in for a warranty service, whoever worked on it made some changes because when I received it back (quick service - only took 3 or 4 weeks!), the chronograph secs hand no longer jumped and was smooth as silk at start.
Your flyback starting after 2 secs is not right. The flyback should start immediately when you active the flyback button. There shouldn't be any delay of the chrono secs hand.
Cheers,
Anthony
it into your local RM dealer and have the watch serviced. Get a quote, check if the watch is still under its warranty, and RM will get it fixed.
Great watch and my congratulations. Welcome !
