I am thinking about letting go of my RM 16 I am wondering what our forum members think of this model? A keeper?
Personally I find this watch very comfortable on the wrist n super wearable even with the oversized casing.
Love to hear your thoughts!
PS I am considering replacing this with a Arabic numeral dial more suiting for the RM hi tech theme.

I think that when we feel we want to change, it is good to think about it
RMs are very comfortable and indeed thinner RMs like the RM033 or your RM16 (and recently the RM067) are fantastic to wear.
You have certainly tried a few other references and this is the good way to do it imho.
About Roman vs Arabic numerals, it depends on the watch and on what we like.
I liked the Roman numerals on the RM033. I thought from pictures that I would even prefer the Arabic ones on this model as it looks more modern, more in line with RM's spirit.
However, from other pictures I saw afterwards and a RM033 I saw in a shop window, the dial looks a little more "empty" compared to the Roman numerals that occupy the dial more. Hence, I felt the Arabic numerals were finally not the best choice for me.
This is maybe a feedback you can check if you wish and make your own opinion.
If you already tried it and you prefer it, then no problem of course.

Yes for me, the 33 (which I own too) certainly looks great with the Roman. I too find the Arabic numeral a bit empty for the 33 design.
However, it maybe not the case with the 16. I find the Roman a tad messy in the square casing. Hence I am think about flipping this for a proper Arabic sporty dial for the 16.
This two watches are one of the most comfortable watches I own.
Once after a week long wearing only my Rolex dd2 pt (218206) I put on the 33, and a few time I need to check if the watch is still on my wrist! 🤣

You're right, the RM033 and RM016 dials are not working the same way with each type of numerals and I don't think I've seen a Roman numerals RM016 version in the metal (I don't know that reference well).

Keep the unusual RM 016.
I tried often but prefer the more robust 028 I own. But if I want to buy a more classy watch I would take the 016 (perhaps Marcus version)

and I have see the tried on that Marcus rm16 in 18KWG, in person it looks absolutely sick!! The red is so sharp n loud! I love it!
Then again with a limited 3 pcs... I don't think I will get a chance.
I might have to settle for the normal rm16 certainly getting the titanium version, since what makes the 16 special is the light weight.

I think the 016 is nice. I recently saw the OC version with pink Arabic numerals and it looks awesome too. Arabic and Roman numerals on the 016 make the watch look a bit different but imho the Arabic numerals generally make the watch "louder" and Roman more understated if we can apply this word to any RM.
