Even back thirty years to another Safari?
When the big beautiful domed Safari appeared I despaired at its 46mm diameter, and after some hunting around, came up with an original bronze Gefica Safari
Exotic enough in its own way and for its own time.
And with the unmistakable Genta look and patina, despite the pedestrian 7750-based movement.

I think its beautiful in a very different manner. Much more classic. I remember I saw somewhere in the web there is a perpetual calendar edition of this Gefica...absolutely stunning. Its so rare almost like a myth. Anyone here have a photo to share ?

Of course I am a huge fan of GG and I personally think the SUCCESS series is the best of all GG design! That case and the details are so unique and so many details if you care to look closer. The design is so original and so unique and so original. This is the super rare Jumbo sign 40-41mm in 18KWG automatic movement and carbon fiber dial. I got lots of complements. I love this watch!

PS I have yet to see another one in this size! The person sold me this watch (NOS) told me this was heading to some royal family in south east Asia but they didn't pick up the watch for 2 years hence I stand in line to own this amazing piece. GG did lots of unique piece and bespoke pieces for their VVIP clients and HRH and Royals.
