It´s a mono-pusher chronograph, 40 mm, steel. Don't know the maker, nor movement calibre.

Eberhard mono pusher Cal 16000 from the late 40s, from the case, hands and sub dials.
Some of them had a "slide button" at 4 to block the chrono...

Strange though that the dial has no branding, been erased?...also at that time different manufacturers were producing for others so would need more info to know!...

I'd guess....
...this to be an early Hahn Landeron cal. - dial clearly is redone, case obviously chromium plated brass/nickelsilver.

Can you get more pictures
to be able to have a good guess at this it would be necessary to see the movement and any numbers or writing on the case.
The only thing that can be guessed from your picture is the fact that the watch is a one button chronograph. Generally this would place it
in the Thirties. The two button chronograph was introduced in the mid-Thirties and was more or less gone by the early Forties, outside of some military watches.
Many manufacturers could have used this dial - assuming if it is a re-dial it has been done in the same style.
It's a cracking looking watch and at that size would be a very nice one to wear.

My guess, like one of the other responders, is that this could be an Eberhard. It has the look and the configuration of their earlier pieces. But, of course, it could be several other things as well. It could also have been made by Eberhard for some other brand. Who knows - that's the joy of these earlier pieces. Love to see the movement, it's markings, and the case markings. If it's large (near 40mm) that's even a stronger possibility that it has Eberhard origins. I take issue with one of our readers who said that the dial is "obviously" a re-dial. I have found, having owned many vintage chronos over many years, that whenever a vintage watch has a smashing dial it is automatically assumed it's a re-dial. There are great older pieces out there with excellent original dials. This could be one of them. When looking at the dial in the picture you posted, it's not totally clear because we also don't know the condition of the crystal - our "lens" to viewing the dial. If that's a re-dial…..I'd like the name of the company that did it. It is possible it's a very good original dial, and I don't think it's obvious at all that it's been redone. Lovely watch…..

just to explain and perhaps clarify a bit - I've some reasons for my conclusions written earlier - even though those are personal
opinions of course.
Well, to me it's obvious that this most likely is a redial - among some other reasons, the printing/layout doesn't fit the rest of the watch - hands and dial opening of the
bezel - those has been observed and followed by the manfactureres precisely with original pieces of that period.
Printing quality is really not there....and as said there are other points as well.
Same with the case - OP said t's steel, personally I'm pretty sure it's chromium plated, color and all else does make this obvious.... I'd guess it would have a steel back, and
would be marked appropriately (Fond acier or Steel Back) or less common would even have a chromium plated back.
My more "wild guess" is the movement - I said early Hahn Landeron caliber - well the reason for this is just that this has been one of the more common movements
found in that sort/quality chronographs in that time (BTW also used a lot by Breitling of that period).
The problem with vintage dials today is - the people who really know about it, are getting really rare and even rarer are the good pieces to learn more about this issue....
