I know the feeling
Any time I can go through my photos from a dinner and see that I can start the post with a PLM tourb, a Duality, and two FPJ rementoir tourbillons (including a subscription piece), I know that I have been in the presence of greatness! Folks around the table were still being blown away during dessert by one piece or another that had not made its way to them earlier in the evening. A rare dinner at which a brand new PP 5270 would not be the center of all attention!

I might be the odd one out of here that, even though the movement of the Duality is a amazing feat, the dial side leaves me cold a little bit. I much prefer the noticeably more refined look of the Simplicity! You've certainly made the right choice Gary!

Thanks very much for your post -- it's interesting (but not too surprising to me) how each person has different favorites among the pieces shown.
As for the Duality dial, it is quite sober but as you say, there is a lot going on underneath! With only 9 examples ever made, I would certainly not complain if I ever had an opportunity to own one (funds aside...).
The Simplicity should be in my hands in a couple of weeks or so -- can't wait!
