Last month 12 November, LONGINES officially opens its 3rd
boutique in Singapore at The Shoppes, Marina Bay Sands. Gracing the
official opening are Mr Walter von Känel, LONGINES President and Ms Chi Ling Lin (or Lin Chi-ling), LONGINES Ambassadress of Elegance.
After
the opening ceremony, a press conference was held to announce its
collaboration as the Official Partner and Timekeeper of the Singapore
Turf Club and the running of the LONGINES Singapore Gold Cup. The inaugural SGD1.35 million LONGINES Singapore Gold Cup race was held on 14 November 2010 was one of the richest and most prestigious races in the region.
Traditionally, the Singapore Gold Cup is designated as an annual Charity Race Day. This year, LONGINES
will raise funds for APSN (Association for Persons with Special Needs)
Chao Yang School, one of the social service programmes supported by
Community Chest through a private auction.
Auction items include a LONGINES
PrimaLuna Thousand and One Nights timepiece and six rocking horses embellished with art created by the students of the school and Ms. Chi Ling Lin.

raise fund for APSN (Association for Persons with Special Needs) Chao
Yang School.
LONGINES PrimaLuna series is in variation of steel and rose gold case. It has three case-diameters - 23mm, 26.5 mm and 30mm. It comes in either quartz movement or automatic (ETA 2000/1).

Asked why the design scheme,
the designer replied, she likes bright cheerful colour and as for the
leopard print, it is one of the like-able patterns and also current in
fashion.
