Hi Bellmatic for me - well the first Seiko I bought. Very definitly iconic in my opinion.

Bellmatic great, but then there's the draw of a blue dial as well

I like your blue-dialed military style a lot.  I was considering the same piece recently in a desert color scheme.  The Bellmatic is most certainly a horological icon.  Great pieces both!  Thanks for sharing the photos!

That's a fantastic photo!  I cannot wait until Grand Seikos are available in the US.  I'd like to spend more time handling the watches.

here are my offerings,

a 66A calibre handwind from 1964 (what else). 

1 button handwind chrono for the 1964 Tokyo olympics. also the first chrono Seiko made. i'm looking for a new bezel if anyone has one.

Finally, the Seiko Discus which was the first forum favourite before the Longines Legend diver as i think, about 20 of us bought them and are still buying them.

The KS is at least inside the family. Thanks to this thread I remembered who has the Bellmatic. Then there's the Titanium Seiko Superior that I'm doing up for a mate's wife...and the Eterna that sits on another's mantlepiece. And the 7040 Diver on permanent loan. And the Seiko 5 (same as AlexSunrises, but blue-dialled) that I cannot prise off another mate's wrist, even after fixing up a Ricoh he kept pestering  me for....not to mention the Enicar my gf wears, or the Omega 26.5 she 'adopted' when I started to take apart the Mido Multifort....

So yep, they walk out....my watchbox is other people's wrists...

That's your problem!    At least you know where everything is.

The old Seiko dress watches have a beautiful simplicity to them.  I also like the Burger.  It's a fantastic PPro community piece -- the unique display is a winner!

Great idea on the Seiko roll call

This GS is one of my all time favorite timepiece…brilliantly executed by Seiko.

Love it!  Your GS is pretty hot too!  I'd love to grab one of those for my own collection someday.  This has been a fun roll call.  I think there are more Seiko fans on the boards than I imagined.

Looking forward to reading more of your thoughts on the new acquisition (second photo, I believe)!  They are both fun watches.  It's been a long time since I owned a watch with digital display (flirted with a Breitling Aerospace at one point), but they are handy to have around.  Great for sports too!

Since you didn't mention Grand Seiko I left all of them out of the picture.
And all of the pocket watches. And clocks. And about a dozen others that didn't fit.

Dates from either 1963 or 1973 I believe (never can be sure with Seiko's serial number system). A very simple, time only watch.

Movement is the 17 jewel cal 66A, handwound.

I don't consider that to be humble. I mean that even very simple vintage Seiko models, such as yours, were often beautifully designed. I find that dial, and those hands and markers to be exceptionally elegant, given the simplicity and relatively low, original price point of the model.
