Horological Meandering

Hi everyone, I just got my first IWC top gun (split second 46 mm).
THere are few questions I would like to ask if you would not mind. I think People who are from this forum, most of them are full of experience and knowledges about watches. I will really appreciate if you can help out.

I have observed my watch today. I thought that the date and day would turn to a new day at 12:00 am. like Tue to Wed and 22nd to 23rd at 12:00 am. Instead, my watch turned to a new date at around 12:37am (Tue to Wed) and to a new day (22 to 23)around 12:02am.

Is that normal to a brand new top gun or any IWC?

I also accidently winded my watch in clockwise direction about 15 revolutions ( I believe the right way is counter clockwise to wind the watch). Actually the manual do not mention which direction to wind in the "winding position" section at all, and I did not know which way to. (actually my first time to wind a watch too). Could this winding mistake cause the date and day rotation problem if it was a problem. Did I damage the mechanism by winding the other way around?

Please Help, I am so confused if I should take the watch to check up at a service center.

there is another odd situation is that , When I set the time, I stopped it at 60 second (the second hand is at 60), but after one full revolution (0 to 60) of the second hand , the minute hand wouldn't be at precisely at the next minute 's mark ( let's say 1 to 2). Instead it would still be a little off to reach the next minute ( the minute would be precisely at 2 around 15 seconds).. is it abnormal or normal?

but after all the time seems like catching up correctly, just that when I read the time , let's say I am reading 12:05:00( when the minute hand is exactly on the 5 mark) but the second hand is already at around 15 second's. shouldn't the minute hand in this situation pass the 5 mark alittle already if the second hand is already at 15?

Have you set the minute hand exactly to the minute marker when you stopped the second hand at 12?

 

Will change somewhere between 22.00 -02.00 hrs.

For example the date on my Journe starts to move just after 23.00 hrs and then at 23.55 hrs the day & date make their final change.

Were as the Patek 5146 that I had didn't complete its full change until 01.30 hrs

So do not worry about that, but please remember that you shouldn't try altering either the day or the date from as early as 19.00 hrs as the mechanism is gearing itself up for their daily changes.
