At least this is what the photo suggests. Quite unusual, as in most cases the gents have the larger case. Your watch is from the 1970´s? The case design looks alike.
Thanks for your photo!

While we are still on the topic....

as I assumed: once you gather momentum, there is no stopping!
Your wife must be very special too, enjoying watches to such a degree - congratulations (on wife and watches
)

...what treasures you come up with in the course of time! These watches are really special, so transparent and fragile looking.

... and matching a 100% the "same watch" criteria.
I could imagine that even my wife (who is not really into watches) would like this very decent and classic design.

Thanks, anaesdoc.
The larger watch is a limited edition Portuguese launched in 1993 to commemorate IWC's 125th anniversary. It is commonly known as the Jubilee Portugieser. It is manual winding, with a modified pocket watch movement. Mine is the stainless steel version.
The smaller watch is a limited production Portuguese launched in 2000 (I believe). The stainless steel version (as featured) comes in a black dial as well. It is commonly known as the Small Portugieser, and has a JLC automatic movement.

Hello CS,
thank you for helping up my limited knowledge on IWC watches! From the dial design I would have thought, the watches belong to the Portofino series.
You never stop learning

… particularly with the variety of case sizes to suit all wrists.
I had owned the Grand Date for a while and the Reverso Memory came along for our tenth wedding anniversary; a nice emotional connection.

... and shows the versatility of the Reverso: goes well with an alligator strap as well as with a bracelet, suits her and him - excellent!
Thanks Andrew for displaying the watches,

I would not have thought Panerai´s easily work for a husband and wife team, but obviously: it works!
