Ahhh! the MIH watch... I like it! It's large and thick, and not what I typically wear, but I really like it. I remember seeing Rolf Schnyder at an LA dinner one time. He was wearing a brass watch on a rope. He said Ludwig had given it to him to wear on his trip - he wanted to see how it held up. It was the prototype for this annual calendar.
(Sorry for the quality of all these pics, but all I have is a lamp on my desk in the evening.)

i dont know any owners that dont love it. i love it so you'll love yours
enjoy it, its a great watch to wear all the time, some of the time or only rarely. possibly the best of all worlds combined.
BTW if you dont like the rubber strap the watch looks very good on a 22/22mm thick leather with white stitching and original buckle.
