...it is indeed a pleasure to be the current custodian of such a piece and you are clearly well up on its significance. The condition, though, is full credit to the previous owner (to whom many thanks are due), and the honour of having it is not underestimated.
Cheers,
pplater.
...to say so Art, thank you. Your rhetorical question, however, may be a little mischievous; after all, apparently they say you can never have too many examples of such a movement... ;-)
Only a little satisfiedly,
Cheers,
pplater.
...and thanks: from someone with your tastes, that counts.
Cheers,
pplater.
...you always have a kind and encouraging word, thank you. By the way, your PAM GTG post was exrtraordinary - for anyone who missed it and wants to see 'dedication' defined, here's the link:

hi,
great watch!
wear it in best of health!
...should have realised that it might appeal to a 'movement fan' such as yourself!
Cheers,

hi pplater,
the Beba Chronometer with the P260 is one of all time favourites!
Sadly, the chance to get one is very very slim nowadays so again wear it in best of health!
by the way, is the movement incabloced?
...the caseback next comes off it will not be possible to be definitive, but three other P260's which have been 'opened to view' were not shock protected. Kari Voutilainen has seen to that in the Observatoire rendering though.
Cheers,
pplater.
