Well, after a lot of reading on the site and just a few posts, a "collection" of manual wind watches in white gold has begun. That's the only theme I can come up with, anyway.
Hope it's a good week for everyone.
Regards,
Jed
Hi Jed, Love your collection's theme and the two pieces you've started with. I'm partial to manual wind movements too. Two suggestions for you in the what's next department--a WG Patek 5070 (manual wind Lamania 2310 movement) and the GO Senator Sixties LE in WG with the GO Cal. 49 manual-wind movement. Here's a photo (borrowed from GO's web site) of the latter:
Thanks for sharing your collection and happy hunting!
My vote goes to the white gold series 2 from Roger W. Smith. Although, if you don't mind deviating from the current theme of the collection to consider an automatic, how about the Speake-Marin Picadilly (roman numerals) in WG!?
Both are handsome choices. One of my coworkers is a knowledgeable source of information on independent horology and I plan to pick her brain before I come anywhere close to targeting another acquisition.
Great to see you on the forum Daos, and your suggestions are quite good. Hope you are enjoying your piece, and youll have to post some pictures if you get a chance. Jed, those watches are looking real good man. I really cant wait to see them in person. Enjoy and wear them in good health.
