Horological Meandering

I recently bought a Blancpain watch. I had intended to buy the Panerai Radiomir Black Seal, but it was somewhat big for my wrist, and the so-called "experts" at the shop assured me that the Blancpain was a better buy. Since I am a novice just starting my collection of watches (will not be able to buy another one for at least another year or so), can the Blancpain owners/experts who are familiar with Panerai let me know if I made the right choice. (btw, other than the size, I absolutely loved the Panerai!).

ps I think you made the right choice, but I'm biased against Pannies

Blancpains arent cheap, but panerai's IMHO are grossly overpriced and on that basis you made the right choice.

 

Panerai and Blancpain and both are great pieces but very different in style  one is more sport and the pam is more casual/ dress but i havent had much fun with BP even though they are great  PM me and i can elaborate more, still i think the BP was a good choice but so would the pam have been which BP is it.
