A few days ago,
Deguiret, an independent brand, which specialises in
Swiss Cloisonné Enamel watches, shared these very interesting photos of a wonderful
unique piece made for our dear fellow member
Roni Madhvani.

This dial is inspired by Persée et Andromède (Perseus and Andromeda), a bronze sculpture created circa 1928–1929 by French sculptor and medalist Raymond Delamarre (1890-1986) and part of the personal collection of Ronak Madhvani.
The sculpture depicts Perseus mounted on his horse Pegasus freeing Andromeda from the sea monster that is trying to devour her.

Each
color is
enamel, fired multiple times at around 850 °C.

Each
contour is formed by a pure
gold wire, bent and placed by
hand.

The 316L stainless
steel case features an 18k gold ring beneath the bezel and measures
37 x
8.6 (including domed sapphire) x
41.42 mm, with a 20 mm lug width.
