Well, it’s snowing in New York !
Seemed like the right watch for the day.
For those not familiar, this specific MoonSwatch has been marketed a little differently. The watch is only available for sale when it’s snowing in Switzerland (as determined by Swatch, and indicated on their website). The folks in store have told me that they only get the shipments the day prior and so there are no games to be played. (I’ve heard this from folks in stores in multiple countries).
This is my second MoonSwatch, but the first with these new improved straps.

I am frankly a tad tired of all the ways to make you wait for what is in essence a mass market watch. But was fortunate enough to get most of mine without waiting.
Curious about your assessment of the straps - the earlier ones were the weakest element IMHO and mine all remain unworn, as I switched them out for something else straight away. The Swatch Fifty Fathoms are much better in that respect 👍🏻
I am OK with the “drops” and manufactured “scarcity.
I was (am) a sneaker kid. So it’s all familiar now that everyone is doing it from street to high end luxury.
The key attraction of the strap here is that it’s thin and flexible. Unlike those the regular MoonSwatch come with. I think that makes all the difference.

I think this is my white rubber strap itch sorted.
And I got a white case too ! Bonus. LOL

Yea, I think so. But you know what, I’m perfectly OK and a lot less cynical about Swatch implementing a marketing plan like this than I am about several high horology stories that we have been told.

Yeah, it’s a fun one.
And it was not as if I would ever spend thousands on a white ceramic watch. So this gives the same effect at a fraction of the price.
