Sinn U15
One of a 1000 piece limited edition watch constructed from the U15 decommissioned German Navy submarine.
All the steel used to fabricate the bezel, case and bracelet came from the sub.
Sinn was able to get this boat and two others: the U16 and U18. Each submarine yielded 1000 watches. I chose the U 15 as it was the smallest of the three: 41mm in diameter and under 11mm in height. It’s water resistant to 500 meters, which is 499 more than I need.

I know some people would have preferred a dial without the bubble but that's a playful side of Sinn that I like, a bit like the scratched dial.
Really looking forward to seeing these in the metal as opposed to my tegimented beadblasted case.
Even if the U50 is a medium size watch I am always surprised how dense it feels on the wrist.
Congrats on snatching of one these LEs, I would have gone for the same model.
Great looking Sinn U15
I think Sinn really is such an under the radar brand but they really do make some fantastic and not the run of the nill watches, wear and enjoy yours in good health.
