What a great looking watch.
Breitling has gone to their past with the 1959 Navitimer and the AVI 765. Wouldn’t it be great if the reproduced that one? Wishful thinking I’m afraid.
The first one is very nice! The second one looks a bit more like a dress watch. Both would look good in my little collection :) Best, E.
Absolutely classic
The Duograph is almost a synonym of Venus 179. If I could only have one Breitling, I'd choose Duograph over Navitimer. 
Other brands such as Record in 1940s also made split second chronographs using Venus 179, but no as prominently as Breitling.

I also prefer the Duograph to the Navitimer.
Indeed, Record and also Tourneau made Venus 179 chronographs: I might add them to the series.
