The main question I asked myself is how do I define a micro brand. Basically they’re “small, independent companies with small production runs, unique designs, and direct to consumer sales.” There are a number of microbrands that have emerged over the recent years and which have been gaining recognition. Of course there are different price points depending on the specific brand. But in considering those that are easily affordable (relatively speaking), Kurono Tokyo and Baltic are two that I’ve enjoyed their pieces. Somewhat smaller / classically sized, they offer a nice aesthetic that I enjoy. Baltic has been particularly impressive over the recent couple of years. Curious to know if others have a favorite micro brand.
That green dial with Arabic numerals is sexy as can be!

I like both of those micro brands, they are doing so cool stuff.
I like StudioUnderd0g and Albishorn, I own one of each, unfortunately can’t find a pick of either. I don’t own a Serica, but would own one of their divers in a second.
