The Sprint has a stainless steel "cap" with an aluminum bezel on it. The lugs you see and the case and back (that does not open, movement accessed through the top) is resin. 100m, antimagnetic but light as a feather. ;-)

in that respect. I’ve always thought Breitling and IWC occupy a similar market space .
I prefer Breitling for their history, their link to aerospace but also the practicalities they offer (WR for example!). But I agree, very similar offering for the basic models. Glad you liked this one! Best, E.
There have been more Breitlings that I've owned or wanted than IWCs. Currently I have 4 Breitlings and one IWC. I had that Blackbird and really liked it but eventually traded it for a
bicycle I liked more! ;-)

On my side, I love the night mission family. I have an Avenger and an Aerospace. I am seriously considering an Avenger Chronograph, still in the Night Mission family.
I would love an IWC Minute Repeater, I think that's the only one I would hunt.

Can't send you pics until I get back to my other computer tomorrow but I have a very early (simple, clean) blue two tone Aerospace, a Sprint chronograph from the 60s (hand wound Venus
movement) with a super light resin case, a blue dialed (yeah, blue is very common in my collection) 42mm Superocean chronograph and a newish ltd ed Wheels and Waves Premier. Recently I came very close to buying the
TWA ltd ed Navitimer and the ltd ed 1953 hand wound Pilot. Still looking at both, trying to collect Benjamins instead of watches for a while but I have weak moments so who knows?!!! ;-)
