General statement: You become good at something with either practice or effort.
So, brands like Rolex that make 700,000 chronometers a year get good at it.
Or watchmakers that invest more time (sic) and effort in adjustments get the same results.
Remember the 1960s when a small Japanese maker beat the entire Swiss watchmaking community at Observatory Chronometer Contests until they were "dis-invited" from further participation? Then they started the "quartz revolution" and nearly killed the Swiss industry 😜
My St Gallen All Black Rescue Purists edition came out of the box with chronometer specification because it used an ETA movement straight from factory.
