I'm sorry, but a "Luftwaffe themed" collection...

Absolutely dark moment in History and I am totally against any war related propaganda. I am just drawn by the funtional and iconic design of these tool watches and want to complete the lineage of this collection.

... I would like to point out that the term "Luftwaffe" is not reserved to the German air force between 1939 and 1945, but is used until today. I second your opinion, though, regarding the apparent efforts of some manufacturers (or better: brands) to profit from a certain fascination for the technology of the WW II period Luftwaffe. While from the very beginning in 1935, the Luftwaffe was established by Hitler as a national socialist counterweight to the traditionally conservative (Prussian) army, somehow the Luftwaffe commanders succeeded in creating an aura of innocence around themselves after the war. This makes the air force more interesting as a marketing or branding instrument, completely ignoring the historical context.

They are just perfect on the wrist
Because they are only homeage to the design, but don’t copy the original 55mm case size. The Stowa is 41mm and the GO is 43mm.

As GO is marketing more towards dressy kind of high end watches and tool watch like this is not their current focus?

you may want to track down a Wempe flieger- made several years ago -think late 90's
I owned one and sold it-- I believe it was actually made by chronoswiss for them with a very attractive hand wind movement.
