I've been trying to coax her into joining. She has a degree in English Literature (along with being a lawyer) and has inherited my watch obsession. We've discussed her coming onboard to help stir up discussion on ladies watches. She also attends watch events with me and has even done Baselworld. She'd be a great addition to the forum, methinks.

I remember there is a gold/red ScubaTec.

TravelTec was my first. What a beast of a watch! Red Gold ScubaTec is special because it's 1 of 5...love that watch! I also picked up a stainless blue ScubaTec as a daily driver. Rock solid! So the count stands at four so far with more on the wish list (My grail is a gold FourX!). I REALLY want the ScubaTec Manta Trust before they sell out, but my budget is now focused on a pair of TAG Heuer's I need to get in the next few months. Let's see what 2018 holds!

What movements do they use?

I'll dig down and see if I can find out more about what modules are used.
Wrist comfort is great for a relatively hefty watch. I also have a TravelTec on a bracelet which is 46.6mm vs. ChronoGrdae's 44.6mm, so the ChronoGrade wears lighter. I think a lot of comfort comes from the bracelet. The 5-part links allow it to conform more closely to the wrist then say, a 3-part link (i.e. Oyster). I've compared them side-by-side and the CFB bracelet has a much softer transition between links. IMO, the Bucherer bracelets are the most solid ones I've ever worn. Make no mistake, it's not a featherweight, but I don't like dainty watches.

CF circular rotor really intrigue me. U are so fortunate that yr Mdm buy for you. Mine was asking me fr a rollie... looks like you have a great start to the year.

and its Dynamic Shock Absorption system (DSA). It has a series of 3 assemblies that pivot around central posts with ceramic bearings. The peripheral rotor glides across these assemblies as if almost floating. I've assembled/disassembled the A1000 and it is simply brilliant. I hope A1000 & A2000 make it inside more CFB movements. They day they put an A1000 inside a Gold FourX is the day I put my kidney on eBay. That IMO would be a PERFECT watch.

You can’t be serious, I personnelly only left with 1 functioning kidney and taking tons of drug,better not joke about it. But will be interested if you write or drool me with pics of A1/2000 movement.
