. . of the inventor. Not sure if this quartz watch is also allowed here but I share my story about this dual time, 100M WS, Illuminator alarm, which I had saved and “looked after” since 2004.
Snorkelling in Cyprus on holiday I retrieved this lost watch from about 3 metres under the sea a longish way from the shore. It was well sand-blasted from rolling around in the bottom sand and rocks, but I was amazed to see through the nearly opaque crystal that the watch was still working! It must have been lost for quite a while so I admit I kept it with little chance of finding its owner. I cleaned and hand-polished the case, crystal and steel bracelet but most of the case's silver paint is long gone. Now only used as my holiday underwater and on-the-beach watch and on its second pair of batteries in 13 years. I shall be very happy to return the watch to its true owner who identifies the precise location of him/her losing it and he/she quotes me its serial number. I admire its robustness and complete contrast to my normal watch wearing.
