It's alive!

Are you having a nice romantic time on the fur blanket in front of a fireplace with your DB25?

Nice strap color by the way.

DB is really bringing something uncommon in watchmaking, by the spirit and the watches themselves.

When I saw the blued inner side, it made me remind of this one:

I have the original black strap with mine but was really thinking of getting a dark blue one.

Thanks for sharing Flamenco smile

Cheers, Mark

Cool Runnings

No fire places in Singapore ... Just rain , gloom and cool cool wet wet weather (reminiscent of London)

Find myself staring at the movement all the time .... just dun tell me other half

A stylish design , I find myself wanting to experiment with strap colours that shouts understated flamboyance , if there were such a thing !

Merry Xmas, Mark !

Btw, do we see a KV or 2 in the horizon ? wink

Have a great holidays too Flamenco :)

De Bethune classic beauty.....Classic in their own way....

I quote a Purist friend:"De Bethune is what Patek should be....".....funny but I agree...

Mo

That is why ...

I dun have a Patek !

Now that I have a "classic" DB , a most modern piece would be very apt.

The 28 is calling out , and ruining my sleep sad

Thanks Mo , Merry Christmas to you and yours !

Silky dial

I can believe you spend lots of (working?) time admiring that.
DeBethunes walk on the line between modernity and past qualities keeps us looking.
Great pictures too.
Don

Yes , Don ...

a most efficient watch causing otherwise ... LOL

The dial is the most beautiful I have seen (other than the KVs)

The DB of today keeps us amused ...

The DB of tomorrow keeps us in anticipation ....

What keeps me fascinated and as u said ... Keeping to tradition and innovation that brings Horology to the next level !

Thanks for your kind words !

Short version: Superb!

Pardon my ignorance...

Firstly, let me agree: that's a gorgeous piece indeed!
However, can anybody explain the difference(s) between the DB2005 and DB2024 calibre please?
Thanks in advance (",)

Pardon my mistake

the 2024 is the self winding u see here.

The 2005 is the manual wind, pictured below.

If I am not mistaken , there are essentially the same base movement.

Thanks for pointing it out smile

So far I failed ...

 By: small-luxury-world : December 31st, 2014-02:32
to take a final decision which version I prefer. Both are very appealing to me and in the long run I will get one, but if I get one - it will be only one.

Thanks for sharing!

Oliver

The finishings of the dial is stunning

It is the problem of any DB watch... or almost all of them... what is the best side? Front or back? Anyway, I always love the charm of their dials!

Thanks for your post!
