I have always admired the Dornbluth watches.  Unfortunately, I've not had a chance to see them in the metal.  Now that they're making their own manufacture caliber, I think they are even more appealing than before.

& its a pleasure to deal with Dirk who adds a real personal touch.

I sign under every word. I started to order watches from Dirk in 2010 and I still can't stop.

Year expectations for Klassik? 

 

I see you too asked for the applied numbers... not as much character as the painted, but it does add to the depth. 

I also asked that the hacking movement be added and that the crown have the Dornblueth name applied... further reflection of the value of working with independents in general, and Dirk in specific.

I have both dials on the 04.0--the applied numerals came later. I love  it. Dirk told me applied numerals weren't an option for the Quintus. Oh well.  The 04.0 is number 40--in honor of Gale Sayers. I chose #11 for the Quintus in honor of my friend's son Shayne Skov--the Stanford middle linebacker.

Fantastic watches!  My Q-2010 (f.k.a. "Quintus") Auf & Ab should be delivered soon, and I can't wait to wear it.

I have the 99.3 raised numerals-- light dial.  They are fabulous watches… I was interested in the quintus but the wait was too long
