I had a nice quick dinner with a fellow purist the other day.  We had a lot of fun talking watches and playing with some really cool pieces.

I wanted to share some pictures.  Its not everyday you get to handle a JDN.  You can literally count on 2 hands the number of watches produced.  This was a chance I could not miss! 

Small collection, but quite good quality I hope you would agree

How did you think the finishing of the case and movement on the JDN compare with the Voutilainen?

to have been able to view at close quarters.  It was a little hard to really appreciate the little difference due to lighting.  However, the details on the JDN were amazing.  Its very subtle and I felt it had a nice rawness to it.  There was no doubt fantastic finishing.  It was a mesmerising watch.

The case was super nice, the back had no screws, very classical.  The link to Breguet is obvious.  the spinning cage is fun

Both are great.  Its not everyday you see both in the same shot!

You feel the craftsmanship here and not the industrial feeling of some guilloche dials.

Rumor has it that Roth and Voutilainen are the "Masters" on Maitres du Temps Chapter Three wristwatch.
