Firstly a warm welcome to the forum Aaron! Thanks for posting here about your watchmaking project!
I only had time to quickly skim through your blog and the work you're doing is very interesting! I can't wait to go through it in detail when my work day's over
It's great to see an aspiring watchmaker's journey documented like you have done! Your movement looks very interesting!
Love to hear more stories about you and your watch learning experience!
You have come to the right place indeed! I'm sure a lot of us will be following your project with passion and lots of interesting questions for you!
Really impressed by what you have done - all this from 'basic' training! With your ambition & dedication, I'm sure you will go far in this field. Looking forward to further updates from you and to seeing your first finished piece.
cheers

Welcome. Nice work...your blog takes me back to the days of my training...I wasn't at WOSTEP, but many of the independent greats have passed by there, as you know. Might see you at Baselworld ? Otherwise if you're ever in Geneva, pm me before and we can meet at the boutique to have a coffee and talk watches!
Cheers,
Rob

The watch looks great! You're off to a good start!
