Here is last set of photos I expect to get from Daniel and Nicole Roth of the process of making my watch! The watch has undergone the final assembly and is in the final stages of quality control. While the wait was long, what with my having placed my initial deposit in May of 2007, now it is only a short period of time and some 6000 kilometers that separate me from my watch!!! That and maybe some customs agent....

I know how all of you who have ordered watches from Dufour, Smith, and Voutilainen feel.

she looks like a beauty  hope it was worth the wait seems like a lifetime  

and now to explore a range of watches beyond my beloved VC's. I tried short term ownership experiments with an IWC Ingenier,  a Rolex Sea-Dweller, Milgauss, and GMT Master II, and a Lange Datrograph. Not a bad life!

Do you, by any chance, have any photos to share from your visit with the Roths from two years ago?

i never went to the Roth Fam, but met a guy at Basel,  who just picked it up in that time, and he rememberd my intresse in him, and was kind enough to show it to me,
it was fun, because some of the ahci members where there, and also they were very impressed by what they saw and the finishing.

and in making a movement from scratch he has done something bery special.

To date there are five JDN watches in existance. Three in the form case and two in the round case. Mine will be the thrid in the round case and the 6th JDN made. After me I know of at least three other orders. JDN's are quite rare!
