Just a quick question: what is the function of "double serpent calendar?" Dose it show 2 different dates? If yes, what is the purpose of showing 2 different dates?

Hi AK,
.but as far as I know, it should read "double serpent,  calendar" - i.e. the double serpent means it has two serpent hands.  Different form the "normal" serpent calendar,  the minute hand of the "double serpent" is a serpent shaped hand as well (making double serpent hands).

To  distinguish the date  serpent hand from the minute hand, the date hand is polished and the minute hand remains in the original heat blued finish.

Have seen this watch in person, lovely if you're into the serpent hands. Could be a little confusing at a quick glance in subdued lighting.

that I found Double Serpent more appealing than the regular version. I guess the silver third hand for the date must have played the trick.
