Thoughts on Cyrus?
Earlier today, I tried on this interesting piece by Cyrus (picture just below). While I understand that the company is partnered with Jean-François Mojon, who has extensive and impressive experience in the industry, I am less familiar with the company itself. Does anyone have thoughts they can share on the company or the quality of its pieces? Many thanks for any guidance.
I know nothing about the brand but there's a lot to like with that piece.
Especially, the case shape. 2 thumbs up.
I like easy-to-grip crowns and this one looks to fit that description.
The Arabic numerals are excellent.
Finally, the strap is excellent as well.
Overall, it looks quite good.

You can definitely see the Mojon in this piece, looks very similar to the Czapek Rattrapante movement layout.
I don't know the company itself,
but Mojon seems to be a guarantee of quality.
As for the aesthetics, I'm personally not a fan of the double crown (your photo hides the one on the left), but if you like that look, this watch seems quite recommendable.
Having two independent chronographs in the same watch is a fairly rare complication.

All good points. The two crowns (each of which acts as a monopusher for one of the chronographs) are a unique look. I’m not sure where I stand on that yet. But good to hear more about the Mojon connection.
Yes, I understand the utility of the two crowns,
but I personally don't respond to the look it gives to watch.
