On purpose or a big neglect? I went and looked at ADC’s Instagram page, it seems to be meant like this.
When you claim perfection and charge so much, you better deliver. I’ve never have had a Patek without issues. It’s disappointing.

Exactly! Dial design and movement layout
is nice to applaud in watches, but unless there is some technical innovation (and for this I agree with FPJ) - the finish must be near perfection at these prices. Otherwise, I am feeling that these makers are raising prices just to achieve status rather than anything else.

Its a raw unfinished part. As to the dufour question, no doubt that dufour's work is considerably better and when I say dufour I am referring to philippe dufour's work and not his daughter's work.
I remember a Duality
with unpolished bevels in the lower part of the mainplate. I mean with the vibrations of the machine instead of polished or even softened. That was a "surprise" to me. I had an early Simplicity on the bench and I was rather shocked that the wheel train was the JLC original one, without any finishing. I understand that once a wheel has been plated, it is a pain to play with, but still... There were tiny scratches there and there, but I'd say regarding this that the standard at that time was to look through the standard magnification (eye piece). And it was looking great. But today, that'd be a fail IMO. Mainplate and gear train is an all-time fail, again, IMO.

Anglage on the balance cork is not difficult to do
It is long and straight and a CNC could do the polishing easily on the anglage on the side of the balance cork. I'm not sure why there is no anglage on the AdC20 given it's very easy to do, but I do see brilliant hand-finishing (interior angles) across the movement, and in the wheels. The AdC retails at EUR36,000 which is a steal compared to the other equivalent Swiss hand-finished independents. This is a beautifully finished watch and not particularly expensive. The Phillips result of U$171k is a few times above the MSRP.
Yes and no
I agree on the pallet fork that is not matching the level of efforts they did put on other parts. Could still be black polished and nicely finished but an anglage would have been welcome to match the rest of the movement.
Regarding the balance cock, my understanding is that they were "stuck" with the transversal adjustment screw parts. But it seems they thought about the anglage anyway considering the shape of the spring. One can see that the anglage is matching the border of the spring on all sides and it could have been the same on the side that has no anglage. I hope I made myself clear enough. So it looks like when they shaped the spring, they did consider the anglage to go all around. But considering the adjustment screw, the way it is shaped, the anglage would not have look nice. They may still have extended the anglage a little bit just before to meet the adjustment steel part. This hypothesis is a 30 mins job so I guess they did consider it and dropped on purpose. But then, the end part of the spring should have match the balance bridge.
Finishing
I know Santi the owner of the company and he is above anything I ve seen about finishing very important to him
