H. Moser & Cie. x Massena LAB Endeavour Chronograph Compax . . .
Per their Instagram post: a limited edition of 100 pieces that revisits H. Moser & Cie.’s earliest chronographs through a contemporary lens:
This collaborative piece is housed in a 41mm steel case:
It has their signature Funky Blue fumé dial:
It’s powered by their 3-day automatic in-house HMC 220 with a Dubois Dépraz chronograph module. However, at this price point, they couldn’t develop a new chronograph movement or execute it properly with an integrated movement???
We’re looking at a thickness of 13.3mm:
What are your thoughts?

Now that you mention it you are right! I love the dial of the Air Command so I love this one too!

Just came from the Blancpain boutique and met a Moser streamliner wearer talking about this new release. I mentioned it looked just like the air command and both looked at me like I was an alien, what's the air command?, and kept talking. I guess moser will sell a bunch but for me the Air Command would be a no brainer over this.
Classic, yet very unique and, if i may humbly say, quite alluring. The lugs are very well proportioned.
Ok, small stuff like lugs... that maybe only guys like me totally geek over ;em (keep in mind I have five books filled with timepiece straps of all types, so colour me crazy there

Was just talking to a watchmaker about this in the local group I'm in, and he mentioned they are a complete PITA.
The design is nice here, but I think I'd rather just buy a Breitling.
I have become very leery about buying pieces from smaller production companies. I think about the cost and even the possibility of having things serviced in a timely manner.
Nice vintage vibe.
The case design (scalloped lugs) seems reminiscent of some Patek cases. But it might belong to H. Moser too (I don't know enough).

With two small provisos - at this price point I would prefer an integrated movement, which should hopefully be a tad thinner, bringing the overall thickness down a bit.
But the dial definitely looks nice and the typical Moser case scalloping has been maintained.
