Some may have seen my post in wrist scan, just added this watch last week. I am very happy to have a LF as it is a brand I always loved and appreciated since the first tourbillon model he started his company with. I had been looking for a VC tradionelle in platinum (now I know it is discontinued), and while I was searching inventory saw this one available. It piqued my interest because it was in grade 5 titanium, and I have been looking to get a titanium watch. I had been out of watch releases for last year an a half so I never knew this model existed. I also love the more casual nature of this as I don't wear dress clothing too much. Most retailer who sell LF had them listed, however, when I contacted them they were actually sold. I was happy to find this as a deal that feel through with a previous customer, and I happened to be off from work so I could go to the bank for the wire. The movement and finish overall on this watch is impressive. Definitely a keeper!
Here is the packaging it comes with. Very slim and nice leather box, a loupe (nice touch and funny 2 month ago I got the 10x one from hodinkee, but this one I like better) and instructions. Nice to not have a huge box waste space in my basement.
I know the micro rotor with natural escapement is the more coveted LF movement , but for a watch I wear occasionally I prefer the simplicity of the manual wind.

There is some discordance with the strap and watch. I like that it is more casual and the suede nature. But I have been looking at their straps and think maybe the chocolate leather one may work better?
I love everything on this LF, and curiously, this movement fascinates me. I love its apparent simplicity. I am not far from thinking it is my favorite LF! A base for a PuristS LF?
Yes, as someone who knows very little about movements, but I have seen pictures of many... the first thing I thought when I saw it, was I love how simple it looks. Well decorated. The movement is black rhodium plated and changes from golden to black in light. The lack of cotes de Geneve make give it a clean look. The layout seems very pleasing. Very chic. Let me know when to reserve one 😁
I was looking at the LF for revolution and think those numerals are Sublime. Alas, in this case I was thinking I've never seen numerals in tantalum making them a novelty.
They look nice together... but then it would be very similar to another tantalum and blue watch..
Maybe more of a clean slate look, tantalum case with brushed grey dial as this example shows.

Love this piece and am awaiting mine on order. Will not be until mid next year however. Please post with thoughts on how you are finding it after some living together!
This one you will keep forever my friend. Sadly mine is on its way back to the A.D. Want to make sure the rattle I hear is nothing to be concerned about

After 40 years of using a stethoscope, there’s not much I don’t hear
Congratulations for catching this very classy piece. I find it utterly delicious. The Galet case is simply superb, and I love the simplicity of the backside.
