Czapek had a lot of momentum. I’ve owned this about 3 years and have a Passage de Drake Roaring Forties grey dial arriving shortly.

What do you guys think of this ? 7 days power reserve , day indicator and date and with beautiful aventurine dial . 38.5 mm . Any owners of this brand ? Any experience ?

I think it’s an independent that has produced quite a few good looking and technically interesting watches in less than 10 years...
Mentally though, I keep having the exact opposite reaction than they’re trying to provoke — whenever I see “Czapek”, the thought is always that the name might have been written on the best watches in the world today, had history been kinder to the guy (or the guy kinder to history)!😂
But if you’re able to set psychology and history aside...this is a very beautiful object, the dial is attractive and I’m sure the movement is equally good (at least judging by their previous watches)😉
Great brand and this one with a Aventurine dial is so beautiful.
In person it looks even beter imo . I own a Czapek for a few years now and have only good experience with the brand

Mine is 42mm but tbh the 38.5 is the best size
I have a big wrist so its not a problem for me

My only concern with some of these model for me is thinnest of the hands which makes it difficult to read time with my old eyes!

I’m a big admirer of Czapek and just enquired after the Faubourg de Cracovie yesterday.
Some striking designs and real transparency in its horizontal integration. All said, not bad for a brand that started up again in 2012 and crowdsourced funding in 2015.
