Purchased at the turn of the century and still feels good to wear. Alain Silverstein Krono. Automatic movement. case size 34x37 mm. Steel, with a sophisticated PVD (deposition) treatment that was considered an advanced technology at that time

There used to be a time the watch world was raving about Alain Silberstein and it is a pity we seldom hear of him or see his watches these days. Well done on flying the Alain Silberstein flag! I loved his motto which I remember after two decades, 'True happiness is making a profession of your passion'!! 
Still see the occasional collaboration
Assume Alain is semi-retired nowadays, but with all of the independents cross-pollinating, hope to see him continue to collaborate.
Great watch you have there. I’ve always been interested in acquiring one of his FP 1185 Chronographs, they are under appreciated. I think the biggest issue his brand had was that one Alain Silberstein watch in the collection is enough.
