Independents

Hello all, I finally took the plunge into the MB&F world, an LM1 Platium with a beautiful blue dial limited to 30 pieces.  In the last year or so I’ve acquired some Independents and simply think they are a cut above most high end brands that roll out a ton of watches each year. I had a hard time deciding between the LM1 and LM2 but ultimately decided the LM2 at 20mm high was more than I wanted to wear.  Sorry for the poor pictures, they were taken hastily at the AD  but I will post better one with the new Loop system given to me by Westime as a present, thank you Daniel...Jim

A cut above no question.  I own a few pieces that are different in terms of design / look.  I find it really refreshing and get a lot of satisfaction from that “difference” alone, not even considering the quality of finishing, ingenuity of design or any technicals.  It will be nice to look down at your wrist and see this marvel. 

Seems like the big name brands are getting a bad attitude,especially if you buy from a AD and not a boutique. The buying experience from an independent is amazing.

I love to see so many new acquisitions here far away from the - often boring and also too often investment driven - well-throdden paths of watch collecting.
