Early in its history, Parmigiani formed a co-branding partnership with Bugatti. The first of the watches from the partnership was the Type 370, an original design at the time with a transverse mounted movement, vertical gears, and manually wound 10 day power reserve.

The idea behind the transverse movement was to have the dial at the end of the cylinder facing a driver while driving.

The movement including power reserve display was visible from overhead while the regulating mechanism was visible at the opposite end of the cylinder from the dial.

The case dimensions were 48mm x 32mm x 19mm high. The curvature of the case reportedly made for a comfortable wearing watch.
Below are wrist shots of a Type 370 in gold. The shots are from SJX.
Not a bad look although it certainly is not a watch that fits the brand's current philosophy of "private luxury."
Other Parmigiani Bugatti watches came out the partnership over time. We will save those for another day.
Thanks for looking.
