I have this watch and posted on it some time ago. I like it a lot and - not untypically for PF - it seems to have caught relatively few eyes.
The watch bears all the PF hallmarks knitted into it. That means the coin edge bezel from the Toric and dial elements from the Chronor. Some observers have baulked at its 42mm girth but since it's all dial and no lugs
per se, it wraps snugly without being remotely overwhelming. In fact the black dial helps to subdue its visual aspect to just the right degree.
Even its most glaring shortcoming turns out to deliver a bonus. The anti-reflective coating could have been more comprehensive than it is, yes, but as a result the dial takes on a navy blue hue quite a lot. I count this as a bonus, even if it is probably inadvertent (please correct me if I am wrong about the intent here).
As for choosing to showcase the Tonda GT line as 'limited,' PF is a small brand as we know, and is never going to make thousands of any particular watch. I suppose they've chosen to advertise these pieces as 'limited' in order to underline their production ceilings and also to maintain proportionality across its various lines.
