Bill's advice is wise and rational -- you should listen to him.
That said, I am a big fan of both brands, but the clear choice for me would be the VC World Time. Both watches are technically very interesting and also quite different watches. So, you have to decide which technical aspects and functions of each watch appeals more. Then there is the overall design and the execution. It is on these latter points where it is easy for me to make the choice. The VC is really exquisite and classically beautiful. And it is going to continue to look beautiful and classical decades from now.
As already pointed out, the VC takes into account more than the standard 24 time zones and all adjustments are made through the single crown, which is just amazing.
If at all possible, you need to try them both on, although I know that is easier said than done as neither of these is widely available to be seen and tried in person.
