If my gift-giving friend is from...

Manhattan, I wouldn't mind the American 1921 Boutique New York; otherwise, the Aronde 1954 would be just fine!

I actually prefer the standard 1921 to the NY Boutique Edition....

but would certainly be happy with either one! And the Aronde 1954 would be nice too. Okay, everything in the Historiques collection would be nice to have..... smile

I would go for this!

Vacheron Constantin, in my opinion, has the richest history when it comes to skeletonized movements.  This would be a fitting piece.  I've heard a similar watch in rose gold, and although it wasn't very loud, it had excellent tonal qualities and speed.

A second choice?  A Patrimony tourbillon, perpetual calendar, minute repeater in platinum would be another practical piece that I could envision becoming a daily wearer...  And this piece has a beautiful rich sound from the minute repeater; among the best that I've heard.

As long as Santa is gifting, I'll take a custom Ateliers de Cabonitiers...

My dream watch would use a cal 2755, but with the tourbillon only visible from the back and the PC indications being guichet windows., smile

If it is a mere mortal that is gifting...I'll take any of them, I don't want to be considered greedy, ;-)

BR, Dan

Great choices

Very simple...

If I am allowed vintage I would go for one of the plain simple ultra-thins with a 1003/2 movement.

Contemporary - a Quai de I'lle annual calendar with transparent dial in rose gold and titanium.

Still attracted too by the 1921

If I had to chose one today, maybe would it be the 1955, so elegant, pure :

Best,

Mark

Here's my choice...
