Searching the year of make
I have just purchased an old Vacheron Constantin mens watch.
The model / serial number at the back is 488188 .
I would like to know the year of this watch's make.

To date a VC
You should get both the case and movement serial numbers. Then contact VC's concierge (via the VC website), and he will communicate with the Heritage department to determine the year of production for your watch.
