I am seriously looking at the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Contemporary Retrograde day/ date Ref. 86020. I would be my second VC (along with a Patek and five Jaeger Le Coultre's). My question is whether anybody had experienced any technical or maintenance problems with this visually stunning time piece. The one I tried on had a bit of a rough/ scratchy wind to it. It is a new watch from a reputable dealer (I am not worried about it being fake), but has anybody had any trouble with their Retrograde day/ date Ref. 86020?
Many thanks for your insights and input.

with a very useful and interesting complication. I am not aware of complaints about its performance or reliablility.
I find the feel of winding VC's in-house automatics to be smooth but the sound to be "rough" as you described. (FWIW, the manual winding calibers 1400 and 4400 are an absolute pleasure to wind).
