New Acquisition - My First Vintage Piece, A Chronometre Royal Pocket Watch
I made this acquisition online a couple of weeks ago after a friend directed it to me. The dealer was known to her (an antique jewelry and watch store) and after doing some of my own research I found out that the dealer was fairly reputable.
The watch arrived at home last week but unfortunately I won't be there for another month!
The only pictures I have right now are from the dealer and shown below. I'll be taking my own when I get the chance (I'm really looking forward to the next "what's on your wrist" post when I can show this CR in my hand. I can't wait to get my hands on it!
This is my first vintage piece, the dealer says the watch is in excellent running condition and estimates the watch was made in 1908. I'll be testing its accuracy and seeing how it performs. If needed, I'll send it in to VC for servicing and while being serviced - get a Certificate of Authenticity. (Even if servicing isn't needed now, it will eventually - so sooner or later, I expect to get a CofA for it.

As my first vintage watch, I went with what I learned in this forum to "Buy the Seller". I know the seller is reputable (been in business for 25 years in the U.S. with many of referrals and recommendations).
But my hands are still a little sweaty and I can't wait to see the watch in person to make sure its as good in person as it is in pictures.

Though not in any particular order and not necessarily vintage, I've always liked:
1755 Jubilee in Platinum
Chronometre Royal 1907 Limited Edition (with the red 12)
Chronographe Historiques
Chronographe Medicus? (the medical one for measuring pulse, etc.)
Any with a well preserved 1002 movement
Probably many more vintage that I don't even know about

Vintage VC bugs, when they bite, they bite deep! There are much more than you just listed, you know that!
But. don't worry. Everything has its solution: Buy when they bite!
