For me, this quai de l'ile falls in that category. When I got it, I went away from the overseas 3 hand because I wanted more classic VC (with the case and lugs being prominent) and didn't like the date window in VC [btw love the overseas]. The sport part, which is very little known... is telltale only be the ref 4500S/1. I only really know this as the sales team (vc boutique in miami) told me this version is an update that has 10 ATM water resistance ! How cool. I can't even find much online to support this. Very cool. Came with rubber strap and leather.
I have a very soft spot for the Quai de l‘Ile
If it wasn’t for my small wrists, this is what I would have bought before the Overseas Gen3 came out.

It fits infinitely better on a different strap
OEM was too thick, hard to make comfortable
QDL on small wrist.
Hey MRDS. May I know your wrist size? Mine is barely 16.5 cm. I think it’s still ok. But, of course I am biased since I like QDL.

When I tried it on about 10 years ago I didn’t feel comfortable with it. Maybe it was the color or the strap, maybe it was just my aesthetic judgement at that time.

I think you should be able to wear this just fine man. If you got a chance, please consider it again. I personally think the white/silver dial is the best one. This is of course subjective. Thanks. Bobby
