Indeed, so much easier with the phone than having to drag out the DLSR, macro lens, tripod, etc...This attachement takes less than 10 seconds to install and you're ready to snap photos 😁
Still shocks me to see the results from a 40€ lens attachement to a phone camera 🤳 🤷♂️
The ideal would be the shrink yourself to be able to live in your movement to better discover it! :-)

The Malte Chrono is indeed a great piece Daniel. I actually like the design of the case and dial better than my PP 5070G and under high magnification and macro photos, I also think the movement is better finished on the VC than the PP...
I would eventually like to add a Malte Chronograph Perpetual in platinum as well as I find the 39mm case perfect and the hunter case back special. Many people covet the PP 3970 and 5970 as I do but I think I prefer the Malte Perpetual for the same reasons why I prefer Malte Chrono over the 5070 series. The case, dial, lugs, etc...just seems a bit more interesting.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Patek fan and have many but in this case, the Malte wins out for me personally. I know that is sacrilege to say given most prefer the Patek PCCs 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤪

I totally understand your love for the VC Chrono Malte, but I doubt it is better finished than the Patek. And you know I am not a huge Patek fan... ;)

I understand your doubts mon ami but when I look at both movements side by side with a loupe and then under macro photography, it is my opinion that the VC is better finished...
If I am wrong then I stand corrected but from my point of view and seeing both of my watches, this is what I have seen. 🤷♂️🤔

the Patek version looks nicer with the curved bridge on the movable wheels (don‘t know how to describe it better), the main difference between the „regular“ Lemania and the Patek version.
The rest of the finishing ist similar imo, as long as the Y-bridge has the inner angle; some version are round there...

Yes, the Patek " Lemania " has inner bevels. I am not sure the Vacheron has them.

I think looks us subjective whereas finishing is not. Maybe I am wrong but from my 2 watches and me comparing images from each, I just feel the Vacheron is better. If I am wrong, then I can accept that but to my eye, this is what I notice 🤷♂️
