Sure,
In about a decade of collecting I am so deep in it I don’t know which way is up!
Like most things that end up taking over it started small, and has gone parabolic, and is only getting more severe, but I love it.
Really, as time has gone on the rate and size of adding have both increased, I never would have imagined I would be tens upon tens of watches in. How is it that it goes this way, that it just takes over. Was it the same for everyone? Start with one piece, as a tool watch, then slowly your eyes open to the art and science of it and absorbing more and more that this is more than just a tool but really remarkable little machines.
I have posted one recent piece in this thread and look forward to sharing more with the community Captain.
It has been a joy during this pandemic to have these little machines along for the ride. I have many timepieces coming on the horizon, looking forward to sharing those, big and small, with the community.

There is much to share. Wrist time is at more and more of a premium, while my collection still continues to grow. A great problem to have of course. We are all blessed here.
I have resorted to giving watches away as sometimes I feel my collection has become unwieldy. It does make me feel good if they at least go to a good home.

I can take some photos for you with straps if you have an interest there. The bracelet is so good I have not felt the need to use the straps as of yet, especially in a rotation where I don't require versatility from one watch. Even though it is exceedingly easy with the integrated quick release system.

It was not always that bad, but WPS attracted me with the language i like. Also the watches are better.
I bought a watch, and while searching for more information, i came here.
At the other forum they are not common with Girard Perregaux, Piaget, Parmigiani, Bovet, Jaquet Droz and so on.
They were over the moon on Oris, Steinhart, Hamilton, Victorinox, Glycine, and so on. Not bad, but they are very jealous as someone have an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Off shore.
I do not have by the way.

I must agree with you on all points, it is not very attractive the other way. This place still appears to be wholly about the love of timepieces of all kinds, free of trends. It makes more sense to me. I will be pleased to chat more with all.
Indeed I have noticed the variety, and incorporation of timepieces into activities and vv here.
