The Vacheron Constantin TV Screen Style
The similar to a 'TV Srceen' styled watches have been made from the late 1960's until the early 1980's.
'The TV Screen' is the nickname for this iconic and emblematic 1970's VC style.
There have been many refs with very similar looks like ref 43005/206 or ref 7391 or ref 7664 and so on.
To determine which ref it's yours exactly and which movement is inside, you should get the watch opened by a professional watchmaker and get a look in the case - on the case back the ref number shows up. Don't forget to take pictures from the inside. My estimation would be mid to lateer 1970's cause there is no ampersand in the 'Vacheron Constantin' brand logo.
The case is most probably 18K white gold, with integrated 18K WG 'basket woven' bracelet.

Certainly one of the VC iconic 1970's style watches.
For the collector would be the movement inside of further interest.
Since the style is somewhat brutal I would suggest it's more for the taste of Wei Koh than for the taste of Nick Foulkes.

I like your comment, and I would agree the style is very wearable and a highly enjoyable high end luxury watch.I would like to ad some info about the difference between the TV Screen style and 'The TV Screen' (pls see picture below).
But in terms of valuation there shouldn't be that much difference, I suggest more significant are the movement, the dial (e.g. semi-precious stone like lapis, marquetry), integrated bracelet.
(And I drop the Prestige de la France just to show up The Prestige wasn't the end of the high quality style at Vacheron Constantin in the 70's as Nick stated here)
